    The magnificent Culzean Castle sits perched on the cliff edge, with panoramic views across to Arran. Not only can you have an interesting tour ot the castle, but there are many diverse walks through the estate including the walled garden, the swan pond and the beach walk.

    Dalgarven Mill near Kilwinning has been lovingly restored by the grandson of the miller over many years, and now can be seen with the mill wheels tturning.
    There is also a fantastic collection of clothes and other artefacts, gathered from all over Ayrshire. Don’t miss the homemade lunches in the small restaurant.

    The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum was opened in 2011 and provides a hands-on experience for adults and children alike. You can also see around Burns Cottage and enjoy the walkway, spotting characters like this little chap on the right.
